Find your faith in this dark time. I heard this quote from Vice President Joe Biden, his wife Jill put it up on his mirror after the death of his son Beau. It comes from Soren Kierkegaard, a Danish Philosopher.
Hugh Pyper, philosophy professor at Sheffield University said, “It’s not a matter of being in a dark place and saying, ‘It will all work out. You’ve gone beyond that, there’s no hope or future, and no logical reason to keep going at all. It’s precisely then that you experience faith.”
I have never experienced a time like we are going through now. I’ve always been able to find something I could believe in, a place where I could land on the foundation of hope.
I feel untethered
I’ve lost friends I thought would be with me for a long, long time. I’ve lost the confidence that my partner and his work could support me if I stumble. I’m at a loss around my daughter’s health as her COVID symptoms continue even after the virus has left her body. I’ve lost hope of our current government caring for the people as my sister and the Wall of Mom’s got tear gassed, flash-banged, and had concussion grenades hurled at them as they peacefully protested the death of George Floyd in Portland Oregon.
Many interesting things have happened during this time of floating untethered in a sea of grief. I’ve found I’m feeling more hopeful and I’ve begun to find faith. I’m resting in a place of grief. I’ve found solace in connecting with others who’ve experienced loss during this time. From this deep well of grief, I’m landing into acceptance. A deeper level of acceptance than I have ever experienced.
Let this dark time help you find your faith because when life is easy you don’t need faith but when times get tough it is faith that gets you through.
Keep going
I love this quote from Winston Churchill “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” It is faith that keeps me going. It is faith that brings me to my mat every single day to find a place beyond fear. A place of FAITH.
Go to your mat to courageously release fear and live your life without the destructive force of fear. Get on your mat and DO the Ageless Move Without Fear Practice. Live NOW without FEAR! You deserve it and your family and friends deserve it from you.
It is the only way to overcome the fear propaganda that is attempting to take away your freedom! Don’t let them take another moment from you — have faith — love overcomes fear. Move the way love makes you move!

KEEP THE FAITH!
